Mr. Kimsey has been involved in the securities industry for 20 years, with extensive investment banking, asset management and risk management experience. He is a founding partner of CapFi Partners LLC, a registered broker-dealer. Prior to founding CapFi, Mr. Kimsey was a principal at Banc of America Securities LLC, responsible for managing over $400 million for a group of high net worth individuals and providing hedging and monetization guidance to a broad array of clients including individuals, hedge funds and financial intermediaries.
Mr. Kimsey worked for Lehman Brothers as an investment banker in the Global Media and Telecom Group. Mr. Kimsey was the Equity Strategist and manager of the Investment Strategy Group for the Lehman Brothers Private Client Division, managing over $1 billion in assets and providing asset allocation and strategy advice to the firm’s high net worth clients. As Equity Strategist, he was a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and Asset Allocation Steering Committee.
Mr. Kimsey is a Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association and a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Chamber Foundation and the Center for Workforce Preparation at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Kimsey is also a Board Member of the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, Change for Kids, PENCIL, and the Kimsey Foundation.
Mr. Kimsey earned an Executive M.B.A. in Finance from the Stern School of Business (1997) at New York University, and a B.B.A. in Business Management from James Madison University (1988). Mark Kimsey holds the Series 7, 24, 63, 65 and 99 professional licenses.
Todd Wincup is an accomplished senior securities industry executive with extensive experience in public policy and government affairs. As Senior Vice President of CapFi, Mr. Wincup works with private companies, institutional investors and funds on transactions including venture capital, private equity, merger and acquisition and fund formation. Mr. Wincup utilizes his financial services knowledge and public policy experience to advise CapFi clients on issues critical to financing plans and capital market activities.
Before joining CapFi Mr. Wincup was a Policy Advisor with Patton Boggs LLP, a U.S. public policy firm where he was responsible for public policy advisory services and business development in Washington, D.C. to a wide range of industries. Mr. Wincup has served as Chief of Staff at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, working directly with the President/CEO and the Chief Operating Officer in managing the Chamber’s operations and staff. Mr. Wincup has also been a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and served as an aide to General Colin L. Powell, U.S.A. (Ret.) in his personal office.
Mr. Wincup is a former professional tennis player and is currently an advisory board member for several organizations in the technology, market research, marketing analytics, homeland security, manufacturing, education and consumer products industries. Mr. Wincup also serves on the Advisory Board of the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
Mr. Wincup received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University (1994) and his M.B.A. from Kellogg Graduate School of Management (2001). Todd Wincup holds the Series 7 and 63 professional licenses.
